Mission Statement

To glorify God by proclaiming the gospel to the whole creation, making disciples of Jesus Christ who are rooted and built up in Him, by establishing them in the faith through the Word of God, which is sufficient for life and godliness and able to equip the believer for every good work, wherein he will find fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11; Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Colossians 2:7; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3).

Philosophy of Counseling

  1. Scripture, as God’s own, breathed-out revelation, self-attests to its sufficiency, clarity, authority, and necessity. We, therefore, submit to it as our only rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3-4).
  2. Consequently, we deny and repudiate all godless theories, methodologies, philosophies, principles and models, both secular and mystical (1 Corinthians 3:19; Colossians 2:8; Isaiah 8:19-20).
  3. We seek, by the guidance and ministry of the Holy Spirit to apply the Word of God, profitably, in teaching the individual: first, that, apart from Christ, they are under the wrath of God for their sins and fallings short, second, that infinite grace is guaranteed to those who believe by the gift of faith alone on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ alone, and, third, how Scripture alone can reprove and correct their conduct for the glory of God alone (1 Corinthians 2:9-16; Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:13; Ephesians 2:7-9; Titus 2:11-14).
  4. In the fellowship of a called-out assembly of believers, which is the local church, the Christian is trained in righteousness, whereby they experience increasing hope, joy, and peace in the presence of God. Therefore, a vital aspect of the biblical counseling ministry is joining the Christian to a local church for ongoing discipleship (Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 10:25; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Psalm 16:11).
